The Pentagon just announced there will be no revoking of the "don't ask don't tell" policy in the U.S. military, contrary to the wishes of President Obama and even against Obama's stated intentions to revoke it. Over 1050 retired military officers and conservative critics requested that the policy stay in tact, which was instituted under former President Clinton. Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell acknowledged that keeping the policy wasn't in line with the President's views, but said that there wasn't "any sense" in changing it.
