Here's some surprising news: the lame 80s pop duo The Pet Shop Boys are still around. They recently received a letter from the animal-killing cult known as PETA requesting that they change their name to the Rescue Shelter Boys.
They turned down the request, but did play along with the PETA kooks, posting the letter on their website and announcing that it "raises an issue worth thinking about." Once again PETA got the publicity it wanted, at the usual price of self-ridicule. ...
