Palin Does SNL (But Really, It Went The Other Way)
BAGnewsNotes —
... Palin again, but did so to Palin's face while the Veep candidate stood there watching her on a monitor before a national television audience.
As such, the shot of the night was this one of Tina Fey, having just finished mocking Palin, actually walk right past Palin without even a mutual glance. More devastating still, before exiting the stage, Fey throws a look back like she couldn't be bothered and she got off scott free.

As such, the sequence of the night (if not as cutting as the Moose rap later on) was this one of Tina Fey, having just finished mocking Palin, actually walking right past Sarah without even giving her a glance. How to Tell Tina Fey from Sarah Palin

... Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin is a right-eye winker, as you’ll see in her performance on the October 18 SNL (click here). (I couldn’t find a still shot of Tina Fey-as-Sarah Palin winking — sorry.) ...
Obama's November Surprise: Another Bland SNL Performance?

... her own. One hopes The One will be subjected to at least some substantial razzing (please, Jim Downey?), but we're more likely in for a barrage of knee-slapping pseudo-parodic exaggerations of Obama's total awesomeness.
But who knows? SNL has surprised us a couple times this year. Here's hoping they've got some kind of minor comic wedgie prepared for Obama.
Below the fold are Obama's, Hillary's, and McCain's performances, for comparison. Palin's performances are here, and here. McCain's scene is nowhere to be found on NBC's site ...

Asked in the CNN interview today whether the real Governor Palin viewed some places as more pro-American than others, she said: No, I do not want that misunderstood. When I go to these rallies, and we see the patriotism just shining through, these people’s faces and the Vietnam veterans wearing their hats so ...

McCain camp killed SNL joke
Michael Calderone's Blog —
... In October, it seemed that Tina Fey was the campaign, with journalists writing that she had “swift-butted” Palin and derailed her future. Two weeks before the election, Fey’s Palin and Palin’s Palin met cute: the two women walked past each other wordlessly in S.N.L.’s opening sketch. As cast member Casey Wilson, standing next to a giggling Secret Service agent backstage, looked at Palin on a monitor raising the roof to Amy Poehler’s racy Wasilla rap, she blurted out, “Oh, my God!” Watching a parade consisting of Mark Wahlberg, a ...
