In an early look at Pennsylvania's 2010 U.S. Senate race, a new Quinnipiac poll shows Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) leads TV commentator Chris Matthews, a possible Democratic challenger, 45% to 33%.
Specter leads 72% to 9% among Republicans and 45% to 27% among independent voters, while Matthews leads 55% to 25% among Democrats.
