A fine pick, if you ask me, not least because of his close relationship to the soon-to-be president and because of his popularity in a key swing state. Then again, as MyDD's Bob Brigham points out, he's hardly an ideal party chair. Now, with his pick of Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine to head up the Democratic National Committee, the Obamessiah has evidently decided to join forces with an east coast Pontius Pilate who, perhaps, washed his hands of sin by being a Democrat and voting for Obama (it certainly wasn’t accomplished by not running for the same office as the president-elect, as Gov. Palin also ran for a different position).
Somehow I doubt that included in the hue and cry over the Kaine pick will be ...
