TPM casts doubt on Sanford’s driving up the coast story. They’re also suggesting that Sanford might have brought along a hiking buddy.
There’s a side of me that thinks a governor heading down to Buenos Aires for a little “exoticism” isn’t all that important. On the other hand, every meal Obama has is viewed as a sign of possible weakness and when it came to scrutiny of Clinton’s every move…maybe reductio ad absurdium is the only way forward here.
