According to the survey, 40 percent of Pennsylvanians say they are less likely to vote for Specter because of his stimulus support, while 31 percent say they are more likely to vote for him. Paradoxically, Pennsylvanians support the stimulus by a margin of 47 percent to 41 percent, according to the polling firm. Rasmussen surveyed 500 "likely voters" Feb. 11 for the poll.

I am not so sure given that the Pennsylvania primary is a closed primary and the Republican Party has been hemoraging the voters who make up Specter's Republican base --- suburban fiscal conservatives, who either don't care about 'social' issues or are social liberals.
