Sawyer raises Beck criticism with Gore
Michael Calderone's Blog — While making the rounds to promote his new book, Al Gore got hit with a question from Glenn Beck. No, Gore wasn't on Fox News at 5 pm. Instead, the question came via Diane Sawyer on "Good Morning America." Beck, admitting to momentarily siding with PETA, asked how Gore can talk of saving the planet and still eat meat, given the environmental impact of clearing forests to raise cattle. Interesting to see the future "World News" anchor bringing in a question from Beck's show.
