    I hope television gives varity another chance, not with Rosie.

    Nothing was more entertaining than Carol Burnett, Cher, Dean Martin, Dolly Parton & The Mandrell Sisters. I always knew I would be royally entertained when I tuned in to them. The host needs to be willing to ask for good writers, and develop characters & personalities they can become. Some good singers in all genre.
