some1 This is not by Al Muhajiroun! They don't even exist anymore. What are you people on? This is such complete rubbish. I suppose I should be used to empty headed propaganda and lies from sites that have nothing better to write about, but as I read this I could not contain my disbelief. How could a gathering that people are attending for the pure purpose of bettering themselves be turned into such a hate parade. The whole purpose of this event is to learn about the end of times from an islamic perspective (which christians and many other religious groups believe in also), its got nothing to do with Jihad or blowing people up. What is written about the speakers are merely over-exagerated CLAIMS from ignorant people, they are not facts at all and some of the stuff written are just blatant lies. If these people where guilty of what has been claimed they would be in Jail (it doesnt take much to land behind bars for suspected "terrorist" activities). If it was left to the geniouses from such reputable sites such as this one or the Telagraph they would be able to link any Muslim to 9/11 or some sort of terrorist activity just like they have done to all the speakers in this event. I actually wouldn't even blame any unaware person from reading the article and thinking it will be a suicide bombing convention from all the lies and exagerated claims made. Shame on you, this would have been a good experience for many good people wanting to better themselves spiritually... unfortunately, now due to the ignorance and malice of people such as those writing, printing an distributing these sort of articles the event will probably be cancelled or changed to something more to the taste of the blogger below me such as "islam means peace"..... but i know even then there will be something for people to complain about.-
billwarner Al-Muhajiroun alive and well just as as I have been posting. Nothing new, al-Muhajiroun lied to the press, first they broke up, next new name, now "We are al-Muhajiroun".
Islamist sect, Al-Muhajiroun, banned as security threat 'is recruiting teenagers'
Robert Mendick, Chief ReporterEvening Standard and This is London
19.09.08A militant Islamic sect banned by the Government as a threat to national security has launched a campaign to radicalise teenagers in east London, the Evening Standard can reveal.
Al-Muhajiroun, headed by exiled cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed, tonight begins a recruitment drive targeting young Muslims - despite being outlawed under terror laws introduced in the wake of the 7/7 suicide bomb attacks on London.
Several members of the sect have been jailed in recent years for terror-related offences but there are fears the group is thriving again under a new name.
The group has launched a website, Islam4uk.com.
It is advertising its first youth conference, entitled Muslim Youth: The Spark of the Fire, at a community centre in Walthamstow - close to the homes of six men who face a retrial over a plot to blow up transatlantic airliners. Islam4uk.com is a reincarnation of al-Muhajiroun in all but name. It is headed by Bakri Mohammed, now living in Lebanon, and his deputy Anjem Choudary, its official spokesman.
The two have kept a relatively low profile since the 7 July attacks on London in 2005 but have become emboldened in recent weeks.
The youth conference tonight is being addressed by two notorious extremists, Abu Uzair and Abu Waleed.
Uzair, 40, who was a follower of jailed preacher Abu Hamza at Finsbury Park mosque, sprang to prominence when he praised the 9/11 hijackers as " magnificent" and claimed that if he knew terrorists were planning a suicide attack, he would not alert police.
In an interview with the BBC, Uzair declared: "We don't live in peace with you any more. The banner has been risen for jihad inside the UK, which means it's allowed for bombers to attack."
Waleed, another disciple of Hamza's, was caught on video earlier this year making a joke about Muslims taking backpacks on to the London Underground.
Having laid low for the past three years - since Bakri was forced to live in exile in Lebanon - there is concern al-Muhajiroun is growing in strength.
At a meeting last Thursday - as first reported by the Standard - almost 100 Muslims attended to hear a live video link-up with Bakri.
Andrew Dismore, the Labour MP for Hendon, who first called for al-Muhajiroun to be banned 10 years ago, said today: "This new group needs to be banned. Islam4uk is clearly just another side of the same coin.
"This shows the real difficulty with these splinter groups. The fact they are now getting 100 people to their meetings is very alarming."

billwarner The End of Time event at the East London Mosque, which is being publicised on internet sites including Facebook, will feature a videotaped lecture from Anwar al-Awlaki, who is banned from entering the United States after allegedly acting as a spiritual adviser to three of the September 11 terrorists.
Mr Awlaki, who lives in Yemen, has been described as "an al-Qaeda supporter" by the US Department of Homeland Security, which has accused him in recent months of using video lectures to "encourage terrorist attacks".
He is due to deliver a video lecture at the mosque in Whitechapel on New Year's Day. Speeches will have titles such as The sound of the trumpet – the real terror starts.
Other speakers will include Suhaib Hasan, who advocates implementing sharia in Britain, and Khalid Yasin, who has described the beliefs of Christians and Jews as "filth".
The publicity material for the all-day event appears to be a clear reference to the attacks on New York, and features meteors raining down on Manhattan, setting fire to the city and shattering the Statue of Liberty. [...]
Robin Simcox, of the Centre for Social Cohesion, said: "That these extremist speakers are being given a platform by such an allegedly mainstream mosque, in one of the most Muslim-populous areas in the country, should be cause for serious concern."
Tickets for the event are being sold on the internet by a little-known company called Noor Pro Media Events, based in East Ham in London.
No one from the company was available for comment.
A spokesman for the mosque said: "We didn't organise this event, they are just using our facilities.

some1 .....also, the fact that the poster shows new york in flames has nothing to do with any malice intended towards them, it's just a take on many action/sci fi films which show america as the centrepoint for many disasters.-
billwarner You Sir are a toal liar, the poster intentions are clear with fire reinging down on New York City with death and destruction. Save the Muslim piety and "we are non-violent" for someone else, I know who and what you are.

billwarner Al-Muhajiroun Re-Forms Under New Name
Remember Omar Bakri? He was the fellow who urged his followers to carry out Jihad in the name of Islam, dubbed the 7th July bombers "the fantastic four" and urged his Jihadi disciples to force Islam onto the British public (just as the Quran preaches that he should).
Well, his British based pro terrorist group was disbanded but has now reformed (with seemingly little objection from the MET,Government or anyone else) under the name of Ahl ul-Sunnah Wa al-Jamma :Also see my links to al-muhajiroun, just google my name bill warner and al-muhajiroun, I have been therem and know them in Queens NYDo some research dumb-ass before you make statements that you can't back up.bill warnerprivate investigator -
billwarner AL-MUHAJIROUN LAWYER SAYS "NO TO CHRISTMAS"Muslim preacher Anjem Choudary (Al-Muhajiroun) has branded Christmas "evil" in a sermon posted on the internet. By Murray Wardrop, London Telegraph,
Choudary said Christmas was 'the pathway to hellfire'. The lawyer and al-Muhajiroun mouthpiece, who recently praised the Mumbai terror attacks, urged all Muslims to reject traditional Christmas celebrations, claiming that they are forbidden by Allah.
The 41-year-old shocked Christians and even those of his own faith by branding yuletide festivities as "the pathway to hellfire".Choudary, who is chairman of the Society of Muslim Lawyers, ruled out all celebrations, including having a Christmas tree, decorating the house or eating turkey.
In the sermon posted on an Islamic website, he said: "In the world today many Muslims, especially those residing in western countries, are exposed to the evil celebration Christmas. "Many take part in the festival celebrations by having Christmas turkey dinners.
"Decorating the house, purchasing Christmas trees or having Christmas turkey meals are completely prohibited by Allah. "Many still practise this corrupt celebration as a remembrance of the birth of Jesus.
"How can a Muslim possibly approve or participate in such a practice that bases itself on the notion Allah has an offspring? "The very concept of Christmas contradicts and conflicts with the foundation of Islam. "Every Muslim has a responsibility to protect his family from the misguidance of Christmas, because its observance will lead to hellfire. Protect your Paradise from being taken away – protect yourself and your family from Christmas."
Choudary is Principal Lecturer at the London School of Shari'ah and a follower of the Islamist militant (al-Muhajiroun) leader Omar Bakri Mohammed. Earlier this year, he led a meeting at the heart of the area where the liquid bombers lived, which warned of a British September 11.
