Daily Kos — Dean Barnett, one of the few right-wing pundits I respect and a long-time observer of the netroots, died yesterday. He was 41. He died of Cystic Fibrosis, which has an age expectancy of 36 years old. He wrote about his disease two years ago. I had a copy of Taking on the System sent to him, and mentioned he was quoted. He replied, "Uh oh." I said, "No, it's all good stuff." It was. He took people like me seriously before pretty much anyone else, on their side and even in ours. I'll truly miss the guy. RIP.
