The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.
"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

It was bad enough to have to watch the punk who has been installed in the White House bowing obsequiously to the ruler of Saudi Arabia, land of most of the 9/11 hijackers. At least the humiliation was mitigated by the fact that Comrade Obama is a ghetto-dwelling community activist with very little political experience, and has no clue how to behave. But there's no excuse for this: now his underlings have compounded the insult by lying about something we could all see with our own eyes.

Powerline notes the Obama admin, in the form of a dismissive White House spokesgaffer Gibbs, has “Moved On” from the bowing incident it claims never happened. Powerline also notes that these kinds of signs are taken seriously in the Middle East, where we’ve already seen the “like us better” overture, or posture malfunction , whatever it was, was welcomed as a sign of respect .
