Moving out of this recession will take time and it's difficult to see how the lasting impact could not last well beyond even 15 years. The regulation and oversight that existed since the Great Depression was wiped out during the GOP Congress-Clinton years so it may be another 50 or 60 years until one party wants to forget about the lessons of this recession and turn back the clock again to learn these problems all over again. ...
