True colors: Where's the "anti-war" movement on the Russo-German war?
The evidence is growing that the Russian's are trying to conquer Georgia and oust its government: In a heated exchange with his Russian counterpart at the United Nations, Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad of the United States accused the Kremlin of seeking to oust Mr. Saakashvili. Sorry. I Don't Understand the Question.

War Continues in South Ossetia and Georgia
A Blog For All — ... , and had sunk a Georgian missile boat, although Georgian forces deny that. Tigerhawk wonders where all the anti-war protesters went. You know the answer to this. Those anti-war protesters are really anti-US protesters, and if the Russians wanted war, they can have as many as they can seemingly handle, even if they're the aggressors and are attempting to exert their influence over the former Soviet republics. ...

Anti-War Movement Exposed by The War in Georgia
(Obsolete Feed) — Well, this is not the least bit surprising: Well, as of this morning, you can find no mention of the war on A.N.S.W.E.R.’s home page. The group is addressing many other pressing matters, but apparently not the unremitting attack on Georgia. Code Pink? Nyet. Democracy Now!, which is a left-wing media group, has lots of news about American wars on its web page but nothing about Russia or Georgia. Nothing from the comrades at Peace Action. Stop the War Coalition? What war? You can search the home pages of left-wing ...

War? What war?
Daimnation!Tigerhawk and Lileks both note that "peace" groups have, so far, maintained radio silence on the conflict between Russia and Georgia. Nothing from the Canadian Peace Alliance yet, either. Once the left figures out whether the war was caused by Bush provoking Russia or the Georgians trying to help McCain, then I suspect the ANSWERs and CODEPINKs will have more to say. The WSWS article does raise the interesting question about how the Balkans conlict - particularly, Kosovo's declaration of inedependence - affects what is ...
