Ben Smith's Blog — Good news for the Democrats in Ohio: A Republican activist has dropped his suit against the Democratic Secretary of State. The suit was a second attempt to force the Secretary to provide local boards with lists of potentially incorrect voter registrations; the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the first on a technicality. Ohio Republican leaders, including John Boehner, meanwhile, are asking the Department of Justice to bring about the same result.
