Twelve
Power Line — Andrew Breitbart takes the occasion of the Democrats' instigation of class warfare against John McCain to dwell on the meaning of "the inconvenient Obama" (i.e., Obama's half-brother George). Breitbart summons up an imaginary McCain ad he calls "Twelve" responding to Obama's ad "Seven" regarding McCain's houses: Mr. McCain, of course, would be publicly eviscerated if he funded an ad campaign called "12" - as in the amount of dollars a year Mr. Obama's half-brother subsists on. The message also could accurately point out that Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, have ...

Right Wing Nation — Breibart: Mr. McCain, of course, would be publicly eviscerated if he funded an ad campaign called “12? - as in the amount of dollars a year Mr. Obama’s half-brother subsists on. The message also could accurately point out that Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, have consistently fallen short of the national average in charitable contributions since they entered the highest income bracket - despite their ballyhooed “progressive” religious faith that touts “economic equality.” It would also be fair game now to point out that preaching “social justice” pays better than being a United States senator. The Trinity ...

‘The Inconvenient Obama’
Pat Dollard | Young Americans — Previous Post - Barack Obama’s Brother “Found” Destitute In Kenya by Andrew Breitbart - (WaTimes) Sen. Barack Obama has a problem. And it lives in a hut. His name is George Hussein Onyango Obama, and he is the 26-year-old half brother of Mr. Obama, the multimillionaire autobiographer who neglected to write that his paternal sibling lives on less than a dollar a month in the outer slums of Nairobi, Kenya. They have met twice. Unearthed by Italian Vanity Fair and virtually ignored by the ...

Cold Fury — ... consistently fallen short of the national average in charitable contributions since they entered the highest income bracket - despite their ballyhooed “progressive” religious faith that touts “economic equality.” Well, sure. But hey, that’s what we have a government for, right? So that limousine liberals can feel good about themselves without actually having to do anything more inconveniencing than sneer at successful and productive people and vote Social Democrat every four years? There’s plenty more , as you’d expect with these self-righteous hypocrites.

Remainders: Denver, Day 1
Ben Smith's Blog — PUMA count: Three dozen. McCain used to be against Swift Boat-style ads. Andrew Breitbart mines the plight of Obama's half-brother as a counterpoint to McCain's houses. Zorn thinks the Obama campaign took a cheap shot at McCain's age. Ben beats out Karl Rove for "rookie of the year." Jacob Weisberg decides that the only way Obama could lose is because of racism. A black Hillary delegate for Chicago accuses Emil Jones -- Obama's Illinois State Senate mentor -- of calling her ...

Barack Obama's half-brother lives on $1/mo. in a Kenyan slum
Doug Ross @ Journal — You want class warfare? You want mansions? How about a cardboard box in a shanty-town on the outskirts of Nairobi? Andrew Breitbart (via Charles Johnson ) has a crushing summary of a story I mentioned last Thursday -- " An Inconvenient Obama ": [image] Sen. Barack Obama has a problem. And it lives in a hut. His name is George Hussein Onyango Obama, and he is the 26-year-old half brother of Mr. Obama, the multimillionaire autobiographer who neglected to write that his paternal sibling lives on less than a dollar a month in the outer slums of Nairobi, ...

Racist Republicans imply that Obama is black!
Classical Values — Racist Republicans imply that Obama is black! When I read about Barack Obama's half brother living in poverty in a shanty area in Kenya , it did occurred to me that the contrast between the two might become an issue in the campaign. After all, imagine what would happen if it were discovered that John McCain had a half brother living in squalor somewhere. As it is, the Obama team is tearing into McCain under the class war / Zero Sum theory that his wife's property ownership makes them somehow guilty of being rich at the expense of the poor, and he's even being savaged because his wife's sister was left out of her father's will : Does anyone ...
