Unbelievable: SNL Yanks Bailout Sketch
Ace of Spades HQ —
Unbelievable: SNL Yanks Bailout Sketch The one that actually, correctly, noted that Bush tried to defuse bomb while the Democrats kept adding explosives to it. SNL kept its Palin-bashing debate sketch up, of course. But they've vanished the bailout one from both Hulu and NBC.com even as McCain takes the gloves off on this issue. Allah answers his own question. Why did the let the sketch run in the first place? Well, probably because it was written by Jim Downey and no one at SNL has the balls to stop one of their all-time greatest writers from getting a sketch on. (Of ...
The missing SNL bailout skit — and the Soros connection
Michelle Malkin —
[image] Over the weekend, I watched a hilarious, dead-on, and surprisingly honest skit on Saturday Night Live about the craptastic bailout and its Democrat roots. The skit called out Fannie/Freddie and featured Nancy Pelosi dragging out various sob-story “victims” — who turned out to be a parade of deadbeats and schemers. I was going to post the video for you tonight, but I can’t. The video has been pulled. Vanished into thin air. Where did it go and why? I have a theory. One of the rapacious couples featured in the skit was Herbert and Marion Sandler (portrayed by Darrell ...
The forbidden skit: Full transcript and screenshots of SNL’s Soros/Sandler bailout satire
Michelle Malkin —
[image] NBC is furiously erasing its tracks. Any attempts to upload the forbidden SNL bailout skit skewering George Soros and his left-wing subprime schemer friends Herbert and Marion Sandler will likely be squashed. So, I transcribed the whole comedy sketch for you and provided screenshots for the 7-minute video that has disappeared from NBC and Hulu. (You can see it as of 1:08pm Eastern here on YouTube, though I doubt it will last long.) The hits on the Sandlers (”People who should be shot”) and Soros (”Owner, Democratic Party”) occur near the end of the skit. *** [image] ...
Ali Gharib: SNL's Neocon Inside Job
Politics on HuffingtonPost.com —
... The similarities between the column and the skit are so striking because Lasky is the only blogger who has raised the involvement of Soros and the Sandlers as a source of the current economic woes. Conservative bloggers had hoped to use the clip to forward their new narrative on the economic crisis, but found, to their dismay, that the it had been mysteriously scrubbed from the SNL website. ...
NBC reactionaries ban “inconvenient” SNL sketch
Roger L. Simon —
... We are in the midst of an important, possibly crucial, political campaign and the head honchos at NBC are engaging in thought control. They are suppressing a Saturday Night Live sketch about the economic crisis that skewers the massive hypocrisy of Democrats like Frank and Pelosi on the issue. [What? That's impossible!-ed. Stranger than fiction.] Yes, it’s that NBC that allows Keith Olbermann et al to spill unceasing crazed pseudo-progressive bilge on the public… but here they are getting nervous because, allegedly, one of the couples ...
1984 finally arrived 24 years later.
Rachel Lucas —
... Meanwhile, SNL did a skit this weekend about the bailout, which was actually shockingly accurate and fair, including implicating George Soros and Democrats in general. But you can’t watch the video of that skit now because it’s gone, gone from YouTube and Hulu and the NBC video page. ...

The Missing SNL Skit:
The Volokh Conspiracy —
Last Saturday, SNL ran a funny skit about the passage of the bailout bill. It poked fun at the President, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Barney Frank, George Soros, and others. (Transcript and screenshots here .) Now the skit has vanished . (It used to be here .) It is the only skit from last week's show that is no longer available on SNL's website (or other sites at which SNL skits are available), and questions about the skit have apparently been removed from NBC message boards . It's also been pulled repeatedly from YouTube due to copyright concerns. ...
SNL Owned by Democratic Activists?
PoliGazette —
SNL pulled the clip of a sketch critical of the ties between leading Democrats such as Nancy Pelosi and financial institutions Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. As the SNL skit rightfully made clear, the ties between Democrats and Fannie and Freddie were far more serious and prominent than those between Republicans and executives of said companies.
However, only two days later, it seems that Saturday Night Live has pulled the video of the sketch off its website.

The Magical Disappearing SNL Skit!
Stop The ACLU —
Hey, guess what? It’s reappeared. I was shocked to see this, let me tell you. It was funny and surprisingly frank. Less shockingly, the video somehow disappeared . Fortunately, the video has re-emerged. Watch it now while you still can, and check ...
SNL Bailout Skit Video Disappears
Blue Star Chronicles —
... If you want to see a Saturday Night Live skit that skewers Sarah Palin, you can find them all over the internet. This Saturday night, however, the SNL cast did a skit that was less than kind to the democratic Congressmen who are more than a little like the Keystone Cops trying to handle a major economic crisis.
The skit disappeared off the internet. Can’t be found.
This kind of activity leaves one to wonder what kind of people are so afraid of being exposed in a comedy skit? *cough*Soros*cough* No one tried to limit freedom of speech or freedom of ...
