Harry Reid Told Blago: Whatever You Do, Don't Pick a Black Replacement for Obama He didn't use those words -- but he told Blago not to appoint three elected officials who were black, and recommended he appoint two people who were white. Newsbusters is wondering if the newspaper that reported this -- the names rejected, the names recommended -- is going to notice its own scoop by mentioning the racial component. Not unless black Democrats make an issue of it. The media will never cause problems for the Democratic Party of its own initiative.
