Change DOT gov
Babalú Blog: an island on the net without a bearded dictator — Change DOT gov Read this from Michelle Malkin about the new site (possibly violating domain name rules) started by The Messiah. Although it appears to be just another fund-raising scheme, the "service" aspect of it is rather scary. I hope all the Kool-Aid drinkers do their duty and serve. Without pay. Four Years of Campaigning Ahead
PoliGazette — ... Although one could argue that Obama’s understanding of the power of the Internet in order to communicate with voters more easily is a net benefit, many fear that the website will be used as a new fundraising tool rather than a tool to inform the public about the president’s conduct. Furthermore, as conservative blogger Michelle Malkin points out at her blog, .gov domains are normally “restricted to eligible government organizations and programs.” Campaign websites are most definitely not eligible. ...

Your Website’s Got A Little Bit Of Evil On It
pandagon.net - we are the public option — by Jesse Taylor Executive transitions are a weird creature - they begin the day after victory using work they did while they were still running for the office.  The agency is itself quasi-governmental, having power only over itself and drawing funding and resources in a way that only happens every four years. Which is why the conservative scandalmongering over Obama’s transition site is so skull-crushingly stupid. There seem to be two big “controversies” surrounding the site: the first is that it was built using ...

The BitterClingers Strike
Oliver Willis — Oh, look, conservatives are still dumb. Folks like Michelle Malkin and Ed Morissey are hopping mad over the presidential transition website at Change.gov. I’m sure they were similarly outraged back in 2001 at BushCheneyTransition.gov that was soliciting donations for Bush/Cheney. Right? Right. ...

Dear Conservatives: Pick Your Fights
The Mahablog — ... And they haven’t stopped. The minions are still in campaign smear mode, holding up every single thing Barack Obama does as evidence that he’s the bad guy. Now they’re complaining about ...

Obama To Ignore Thirteenth Amendment
Rhymes With Right — ... of a public education. Membership in the Obama Youth program will be compulsory, and the sorts of “community service” mandated will no doupt be of the politically correct variety. My guess is that the next step will be to require those retirees to “volunteer” as a condition of receiving their Social Security benefits – especially once the Obama Administration has nationalized their 401(k) accounts. And so the slide towards tyrranny begins. Heil Obama! H/T Gateway Pundit , Malkin

Surprise!... Obama's Change.gov As Shady As His Campaign Website!
Gateway Pundit — ... ran the largest election donation's fraud in history. Anyone from anywhere could donate to the campaign. The Obama Campaign even accepted illegal donations that could not be tracked. Now, we find out the Obama Team is running a shady operation at Change.gov, too. The perpetual Obama campaign is using a ".gov" domain name for what appears to be a fund-raising front. We're all shocked.
