On Tuesday night's "Late Show," David Letterman flirted with former model and current First Lady of France Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. After some chit-chat about her nationality (she gave up her Italian citizenship and is now French--to which Letterman responded "If I was Italy, I would try to get you back.") Naturally, the conversation turned to her whirlwind romance with French president Nicholas Sarkozy last year (the couple met on November 13th, 2007 at a dinner party--"We met...and we were both single..." she says--and married on February 2nd, 2008).
