By referring to Bush's last press conference as an example of the "power of rationalization" in "easing the bright glare of ... failure," Jon Stewart also perfectly captured the motivations behind Sarah Palin's recent and seemingly unstoppable Victim Offensive. She's making documentaries and getting interviewed by Esquire -- and she doesn't seem to realize that giving everyone the same quotes lessens the value of a complaint had that little in the first place.
