Schwarzenegger: Scrawny Obama Needs Meat on His Ideas
Stop The ACLU — Not to mention his skinny legs, which Arnold prescribes squats for, and his arms need bicepts curls too. Watch it all.

Awesome speech by Der Governator
doubleplusundead — Awesome speech by Der Governator Watch as Ah-nuld whips up the crowd in Ohio on behalf of McCain: It's too bad he hasn't governed much in this way here in California. To his...um...credit, I guess, at least he admits to calling for a "temporary" sales tax hike. God, this state is screwed. But he gives a good speech in favor of McCain and gets a few digs in against Obama, and the crowd eats that up. Our Libertarian buddy kishnevi will doubtlessly be puzzled. After all, those people could have been at a Bob Barr rally. If anybody knew where he was speaking, anyway. ( h/t ...

Video: The Governator stumps for McCain
Hot Air » Top Picks — Video: The Governator stumps for McCain posted at 9:10 am on November 1, 2008 by Ed Morrissey Send to a Friend | printer-friendly Lengthy, but worth it. Arnold Schwarzenegger gets off more than a few good lines while rallying voters in Columbus, Ohio yesterday as part of John McCain’s effort to close the deal in the Rust Belt. While Barack Obama was busying himself with the interior decoration of the Oval Office, Schwarzenegger challenged him to add some muscle to his policies: The quips don’t do this speech justice, though.  About five minutes into this clip, he talks about how fortunate he was to come to America.  He saw the effects of European ...

Hyscience — Lengthy, but well worth taking the time to watch it all. Get pumped up with "Ahnold": > Key quips and commentary via Hot Air: > : > On his wife's plans for trick-or-treaters: '"Sounds like the usual liberal giveaway." On Obama and weightlifting: "If we could only do something about putting meat on his ideas." On experience: "McCain served his country longer in a POW camp than Obama has served in the United States Senate." On heroism: "I just play an action hero in the movies. But John McCain is a ...

Arnold on the Stump
Power Line — Yesterday in Columbus, Ohio, Arnold Schwarzenegger warmed up the crowd for John McCain. He did an unbelievably good job; you can watch it below. The most memorable lines were probably these: John McCain served longer in a POW camp than his opponent has in the United States Senate. Ladies and gentlemen, I only play an action hero in my movies, but John McCain is a real action hero. But the video is worth watching in its entirety. What is really striking is how effectively Schwarzenegger goes after Obama's anti-growth tax policies. No one is more inspiring than Arnold when he talks about America as the land of ...

The Final Stretch
RIGHTWINGSPARKLE — ZOGBY SATURDAY: Republican John McCain has pulled back within the margin of error… McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday, one day, polling. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all… via HotAir ...

Schwarzenegger Knocks Obama For Being A Girly Man - With Video
Pat Dollard | Young Americans — COLUMBUS, Ohio – Muscleman-turned-actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger called on Barack Obama to beef up his his policies — and his body — at a high-voltage campaign rally for Republican John McCain Friday. Schwarzenegger, the Hollywood action hero who is now the Republican governor of California, delighted a crowd of several thousand at a McCain campaign event in Ohio by ridiculing both Obama’s policies and his slender physique. The Austrian-born former Mr Universe has hosted a bodybuilding tournament in Columbus for several years, and opened his address by inviting Obama to participate in the next ...

Mercifully, the Whining Will Be Over Wednesday
Weekly Standard Blog — Well, here's hoping. I swear, if I hear one more media wimp complain about the "negativity" (unprecedented, of course) of this campaign... The whinging is more unseemly than the worst advertisements I've seen. This is a contest, people. A hard-fought contest. Hundreds of hard-fought contests, in fact, that end on one day, and that sustain about three weeks of negative TV advertising foisted upon audiences between "Family Guy" reruns and NFL football. Emote me an estuary. Media types and liberals can't simultaneously fetishize "each vote counting," the expanded electoral map, and the importance of "just one voice" while shielding all those votes and ...
