Ifill: Palin ‘blew me off’ during the debate.
Think Progress — During the vice presidential debate on Thursday, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced that she “may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear.” In fact, “On at least 10 occasions, Palin gave answers that were nonspecific, completely generic, pivoted away from the question at hand, or simply ignored it.” On NBC’s Meet The Press today, debate moderator Gwen Ifill said that Palin “more than ignored” her questions. “Blew me off i think is the technical term,” said Ifill. Political Animal — THE FINE ART OF BLOWING OFF A MODERATOR.... If you happened to catch "Saturday Night Live," which has suddenly become politically relevant again, you might have noticed a great bit on Thursday's debate, most notably the fact that Tina Fey's Sarah Palin decided, on several occasions, to avoid the questions asked of her, and make up her own questions to answer. This morning on "Meet the Press," debate moderator Gwen Ifill argued that Palin "more than ignored" her questions; she " blew me off ." Which, of course, is true. John Harris and Mike Allen reported Friday : "On at least 10 occasions, Palin gave answers that were nonspecific, ...

Slightly more analysis of the Palin-Biden debate
LiberalOasis : The Blog — There's been a lot of analysis of the Joe Biden-Sarah Palin debate. I think that any honest assessment of the debate reveals that Sarah Palin lost this debate. She lost in a number of ways. She lost the debate on substance. She lost the debate on style. Finally, she didn't answer most of the questions. Gwen Ifill states, "She blew me off." From Politico: On at least 10 occasions, Palin gave answers that were nonspecific, completely generic, pivoted away from the question at hand, or simply ignored it: on global warming, an Iraq exit strategy, Iran and Pakistan, Iranian diplomacy, Israel-Palestine (and a follow-up), ...

Gwen Ifill: Palin "blew me off"
Corrente — Don’t you hate it when you ask someone a perfectly legitimate question and they refuse to dignify it? Especially about a topic of the gravest import? Someone who does that should be the object of public derision, don’t you think?
