Martin is already on TV with a new ad that clearly reveals both his runoff strategy and the challenge he faces: He's looking to re-mobilize the black vote and other Obama supporters who came out in such huge numbers, and thus helped him keep Chambliss under the 50% threshold in a conservative Southern state.

GA-Sen: Running as an Obama Democrat
Daily Kos —
Help keep this ad up in the air as we try and reinforce our Democratic majority in the Senate and fight for a more progressive America. And there's always the bonus of giving the execrable Chambliss his comeuppance. So Barack, how about you lend a hand down in Georgia? Heck, a fundraising request to his email list could be gold. The Caucus —
There are 433 votes left to be counted in the Georgia Senate race. That means a runoff will be held on Dec. 2. Senator John McCain is expected to campaign for Mr. Chambliss, who at last count had amassed 49.8 percent of the vote . Mr. Martin is trying to line up Senator Barack Obama’s help, and he is already running advertisements with his pledge to “work with Barack Obama to get our economy moving again.” In his own ...
