Joe The Plumber Confronted By Union Workers, Gets Stumped On Policy (VIDEO)
Politics on HuffingtonPost.com —
"Horny" attention-monger Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher has been asked by Americans For Prosperity to serve as the group's labor-busting shill in the campaign against the Employee Free Choice Act, which would allow labor unions to form through both a secret ballot or by card-check -- a choice that would reduce instances of anti-union intimidation common to the formative stages of organizing. And, as with almost all things related to Joe The Plumber -- like war reporting and taxes and probably plumbing -- ol' Joe just walks in front of cameras and flaunts the fact that he doesn't know a blessed thing about what he's talking about and doesn't plan to ...

Joe the Plumber stumped on Employee Free Choice Act: ‘I don’t know everything about everything.’
Think Progress —
Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, better known as “Joe the Plumber,” is currently in Pennsylvania shilling against the Employee Free Choice Act on behalf of the anti-labor group Americans for Prosperity. As ThinkProgress reported, Wurzelbacher faced a tough crowd near Pittsburgh on Monday, where union members rallied against him. He faced a similarly critical audience in Harrisburg yesterday, and then “skipped a subsequent rally in Philadelphia.” Keystone Progress caught up with Wurzelbacher in Harrisburg and asked him about why he opposes the Employee Free Choice Act. The fake plumber was stumped, admitting that he only knows ...
Joe the Plumber Doesn't Know He's an Anti-Union Stooge?
Politics Daily —
Filed under: Republicans, Economy, Viral VideoJoe the Plumber is a nice guy, but up until now, he's contributed little of value to the national political dialog. All that has changed, now, with his statement to a reporter about his opposition to card check legislation:(h/t Dennis DiClaudio) Joe, as Wonkette points out, is on the road shilling for management, but wearing workin' man's drag. This has always been my problem with Joe. Without a big assist from John McCain, Joe the Plumber would just be another nice, ill-informed guy on a ...
Joe the Horny Plumber: ‘I don’t know everything about everything’
pandagon.net - we are the public option —
by Pam Spaulding
Please let this bumblef*ck run for office - he’s a conservative gift that keeps on giving.
Joe the Plumber’s on the road in blue collar territory, paid for by the anti-labor group Americans for Prosperity, ostensibly to represent opposition to the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) (H.R. 1409, S. 560) . Perhaps Americans for Prosperity meant for him to be comic relief—The Horny One was asked why he was against the EFCA and, well, he was a tad unprepared. (Think Progress): The fake plumber was stumped, admitting that he only knows “a little” on most issues. “I ...
Joe the Dumber
Shakesville —
Since the public (more notably, Republicans) still feel that Joe the Not-Plumber actually has something to offer, groups like Americans for Prosperity tap on this schmuck to tell people at rallies why they should be against the EFCA. They feel he's a "role model ...
The Paul Ryan-Hebert Hoover Budget
DownWithTyranny! —
When the Republican Party's designated spokesperson is Joe the Plumber (watch the video below), even a shallow, blow-dried phony-baloney hack like Paul Ryan (R-WI) looks almost intellectual in his approach to slavish adherence to right-wing dogma and, above all, serving the vested interests of the rich and powerful against those of ordinary American working families. So while a GOP front group paid the make believe plumber to go rile up celebrity-starved Pennsylvanians against their own rights, the Party Establishment arranged for the Republican ranking member on the House Budget Committee to write an essay in the party newspaper and on their MSNBC morning ...
The truth about Joe the Plumber -- he's as clueless as he is stupid
The Reaction —
By Michael J.W. Stickings When last we checked in with Samuel "Joe" Wurzelbacher, he was off to the Pennsylvania heartland to campaign against the Employee Free Choice Act. Well, as you might have expected, it -- that is, campaigning for an anti-labor group in a part of the country that is built on labor -- didn't go well. As Think Progress notes: "Wurzelbacher faced a tough crowd near Pittsburgh on Monday, where union members rallied against him. He faced a similarly critical audience in Harrisburg [on Tuesday], and then "skipped a subsequent rally in ...
Ignorant attention whore booed out of Pennsylvania
WTF Is It Now?!? —
Well, almost. Faux Nooze posterboy to drooling, sheeplike troglodytes pretends he knows something about working hard and putting food on your family. Is promptly pwn3d by actual working stiffs. PoliticusUSA: Somebody in the Republican Party thought it would be a great idea to send Joe the Plumber to Pennsylvania to rally against the Employee Free Choice Act. The pretend plumber faced audiences so hostile in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg that he skipped a rally in Philadelphia. I can’t begin to fully express what a stupid idea this was… sending the intellectually ill equipped Joe the Plumber into such hostile territory reeks of detachment, desperation, and stupidity. ...
