This morning on Fox and Friends, right-wing New York Times columnist Bill Kristol discussed his recent dinner with Barack Obama at George Will’s house. Kristol, who said he enjoyed lamb chops at the dinner, said the meeting “really is supposed to be off-the-record — I really don’t like the fact that people are talking about it.” Nevertheless, he proceeded.
Kristol claimed that Obama did not persuade him or any of the others at the dinner:
I don’t think anyone changed anyone’s mind. Everyone’s a grown up and has developed the views they’ve developed ...

Bill Kristol was apparently excited to have a hot meal with Barack Obama and his columnist friends, a welcome respite from the way he usually eats - in entrees that hurtle at high velocity toward his face, from Code Pink. The result? Kristol suggested that he'd "end up supporting [Obama] on some things," saying that conservatives would probably "split up in some interesting and new ways." Of course, that dinner with the President-Elect was supposed to be off the record, but somebody needs some attention, I guess, so Kristol went on Fox And Friends to let everybody know how much cooler his cabal is, compared to the "liberal" ...
