John Ensign, who heads the NRSC, said in a Las Vegas interview late this week that Joe Biden is more qualifed than Sarah Palin and that an argument can be made that she has hurt the ticket. Ensign's analysis is perhaps the most extended critique of the Palin pick and her subsequent rollout from any prominent Republcian.   His comments come as the NRSC moves to distance itself from McCain, airing ads in two races that assume the GOP nominee will lose and warning of complete Democratic control of the capital.
