New Movie: McCain's Million-Dollar Parking Lot
TPM Election Central —
Here's an advance look at the latest film about McCain's wealth from Robert Greenwald and Brave New Films, the same outfit that did that recent video about McCain's McMansions.
This one reveals another big McCain property asset that's gotten little if any attention, reporting that McCain owns a parking lot in Phoenix, AZ, that the film claims is worth between $1.4 million and $2.4 million:
It's been blurbed here and there that the McCains own a parking lot, but this film airs footage and adds that it's being rented to the Arizona Diamondbacks, who charge fans $10 each ...
Robert Greenwald: McCain's Million Dollar Parking Lot
Politics on HuffingtonPost.com —
Not only does John McCain have at least 10 properties he can't remember, but he also owns a parking lot in Phoenix Arizona worth between $1.4 and $2.4 million. That's over $1 million more than the average American home!
It's no wonder McCain has said time and time again that the "fundamentals of the economy are strong." He's living in the land of affluence, and has no concept of just how terrible our economy has become under President Bush. According to the U.S. Census, 37.3 million people were living in poverty in 2007. 45.7 million ...
John McCain And His Million Dollar Parking Lot
Politics on HuffingtonPost.com —
Will John McCain ever live like common people? Will he ever do what common people do? Will he ever fail like common people, ever watch his life slide out of view, and dance and drink and screw, because there's nothing else to do? No! Because the man owns Million Dollar Parking Lots, a rarity among war heroes, who John McCain didn't even want to give a G.I. Bill to so that they could have a life beyond maybe working at his Super Non-Elite Arizona Parking Lot. Anyway, Robert Greenwald's Brave New Films as usual, is up on it.

THURSDAY'S MINI-REPORT.... Today's edition of quick hits: * Now here's a provocative charge : "Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of its presidential election candidates." * The stock markets did well today, which I suppose means, based on Larry Kudlow's economic theories , that investors like what they're hearing from the Democratic National Convention. * We talked earlier about John Goodman, who helped write McCain's healthcare plan, arguing that all Americans have access to healthcare thanks to emergency rooms. Soon after, the McCain campaign ...

Seems Democrats were busy with something or other the past few days.
Kevin Hayden, Quote of the day from mild-mannered Clark Kent-ish guy: “There isn’t a Republican serving in the Senate that’s happy he’s the nominee. Now, they’re all supporting him, but I’ll tell you they have told me. I’ve had Republican senators tell me they don’t think they’ll vote for him,” Reid said.

John McCain's Million Dollar Parking Lot
Politicol News —
George W. McCain-Bush John McCain takes great pains to tell us of how he is just a war hero and feels your pain while the sheriff comes to your house to evict you during a foreclosure. John McCain knows that 6.1 percent of the American workforce have no jobs, and that over 4,000 dead American soldiers died in Iraq in the wrong country. ...
