Video: Megyn Kelly, Obama spokesman go nuclear over Fox News and the redistribution tape posted at 6:33 pm on October 27, 2008 by Allahpundit Send to a Friend | printer-friendly Time for the daily combative Kelly interview , featuring muppet-ish Obama spokestool Bill Burton in his recurring role . The beauty of this clip is how it ties the day’s two stories together in a bow. Got a question about The One’s penchant for socialist rhetoric? Then prepare to have your motives challenged and maybe your access cut off , on top of the abuse you’ll take once his vicious little cultists get involved . Just ask “extreme hate ...
Megyn Kelly Almost Makes Obama Spokesman Cry Over Wealth Redistribution Recording
Say Anything —
Seriously.
By attacking the media for daring to play recordings of things Obama actually said the Obama campaign hopes to distract from, you know, what he said.
This is what you can expect if you criticize Obama: Anger. Threats. Intimidation.
And Obama’s just a candidate. Imagine what it’ll be like with a President Obama that has the full resources of the executive branch behind him.

I chuckled out loud several times watching this. Megyn is one woman you don't want to cross the wrong way.
Megyn Kelly, Obama spokesman go nuclear over Fox News and the redistribution tape (Video)
Hyscience —
As Ed Morrissey notes, once again in what is becoming an almost daily occurrence, we have another combative Kelly interview, "featuring muppet-ish Obama spokestool Bill Burton in his now recurring role": ""The beauty of this clip is how it ties the day's two stories together in a bow. Got a question about The One's penchant for socialist
rhetoric? Then prepare to have your motives challenged and maybe your access cut off, on top of the abuse you'll take once his vicious little cultists get involved. Just ask "extreme hate monger" David Freddoso. She came ready to play, though, didn't she? The polling stats flow ...

Megyn Kelly apparently intends to have a fun week this week.

And by "fun" I mean the kind with chainsaws.

No, really.

long-overdue blindsiding of Bill Burton:
Well. As Ace would say, good
times, good times. Unless, of course, somebody starts getting riled
up about her.

Blue Crab Boulevard —
Smokescreen Notice anything here? The Obama spokesman, Bill Burton, manages to completely avoid answering the points Megyn Kelly brings up repeatedly. The full transcript of Obama’s 2001 radio appearance: If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court. I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that now I would have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order as long as I could pay for it I’d be o.k. But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as ...

Oh, Megyn. Megyn Megyn Megyn, you saucy minx. You are poetry incarnate.
In all seriousness, she is one hell of a sharp-tack woman. If you can’t watch the video, it’s yet another cagematch with Obama spokesman Bill Burton (tons more of those here), wherein she verbally beats him about the head and neck with poll data about media bias after he accuses Fox News of being a tool of the McCain campaign. See, the poll data says most Americans believe Fox News is the least biased, after CNN and MSNBC. He didn’t want to hear it but hear it he did, because Megyn ...
Another Reporter Does Her Job; Another Obama Tool Gets Angry About It
The Sundries Shack —
Thank goodness for reporters like Megyn Kelly, who come into an interview prepared and who can, because of their preparation, bat aside flimsy talking points like dandelion fluff. Watch how she perturbs Obama spokestwit Bill Burton with the persistent use of pesky facts and leaves him. Notice also how angry he gets when it’s apparent to him that he’s going to have to do more than real off his guy’s Daily Talking Point Script for a few minutes. It’s particularly interesting to me that he pointedly avoided answering Kelly’s questions about Obama’s 2001 “Our Flawed Constitution” interview. Think that’s producing a few gallons of sweat at Obama Campaign HQ? Whew! I know ...
“You may have the rest of the media in the tank, but Fox News reports it straight.”
Dr. Sanity —
Megyn Kelly of Fox News takes down an Obamatron. I like this video because it clearly shows how Obama goes in to kill the messenger--i.e., anybody who dares to expose his real agenda. It's fascinating how that messenger --e.g., Joe the Plumber or Fox News--then becomes the issue and not the holiness of the messiah himself--who is indisputably pure and perfectin the present (because he has no past). And, while I am on the subject of Fox News, which does report it straight, as well as fair and balanced; I am definitely going to miss Brit Hume when he steps down after November 4. Funny how ...
O’Reilly: Can we arrest Obama spokesman Bill Burton ‘for being mean’ to Megyn Kelly?
Think Progress —
On Monday, Fox News host Megyn Kelly interviewed Bill Burton, a spokesman for Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL). As she repeated the right-wing talking points alleging Obama has a “socialist” agenda, Burton criticized Fox’s constant coverage of the ridiculous claims. After Kelly described the interview to Bill O’Reilly last night, O’Reilly leaped to her defense, wondering — slightly in jest — whether they could “arrest Burton and charge him with anything for being mean to Megyn.” Watch it:
In 2006, O’Reilly infamously threatened a ...
Is it just my imagination . . . .
GayPatriot —
. . . or does Obama spokesman Bill Burton spend more time bashing FoxNews than defending his candidate?
While he says his guy is out there talking about the issues, he only seems to offer one specific policy Obama supports, his “tax cut” for 95% of Americans (when as many as 44% currently pay no income tax).

It's like the campaign never ended, except now Bill Burton is standing in front of (and working in) the White House.
Well, ok, and now the two are being more restrained, discussing"cable news" instead of debating over Fox.
