There goes Karl Rove, concern trolling again! A hero of the wingnutosphere turns out to be a murderous psychopath. I was asked to be in this new Microsoft commercial. I guess I was supposed to be the guy that says "I'm a PC and I blog for Obama". Of course, I'm an avid Mac user, so that wasn't going to work out. In fact, it was great seeing Macs outnumber PCs at Netroots Nation and the Big Tent this year. And really, Microsoft's attempt to make PCs hip and cool is pretty lame. Okay, so I saw one of these ads last night, and I thought it was okay, actually. But you gotta admit this is pretty funny: Metadata found on Microsoft’s creative copy used in its ‘I’m a PC’ ad reveals that the graphics were actually produced using Macs running Adobe Creative Suite 3. After the details were published on the Flickr photo sharing site, Microsoft scrambled to polish off the embarrassing details last night Microsoft’s new ad features contrasts a “stereotyped PC user” dressed up like John Hodgman in Apple’s Get a Mac ads with a number of people who say, “I’m a PC” apparently to affirm that they run Windows.
