Obama: 'Three Times'
Ben Smith's Blog — Obama releases his own tax spot, saying his plan cuts taxes three times more than McCain's for people in the middle income brackets. Also, a new tag line: "Barack Obama. President." ALSO: McCain's up with a new radio ad saying Obama has promise "massive spending" and a 23 percent increase, a product of McCain campaign math that will likely bring the busy FactCheck people calling.

Hotline On Call Part Deux — John McCain's camp beats the celebrity drum again in the second new radio spot out this week. This one is running in what they'd only describe as "key states." Narrator: "Celebrities like to spend their millions. Barack Obama is no different. Only it's your money he wants to spend. Obama's got plans -- big plans -- for your money. ... Massive spending. ...
