First of all, I have to say thank you myself. As a result of our Moneybomb for Maine this week for yesterday's Oct. 15th deadline, you raised over $1.125 million, including $32,000 yesterday. I know I've asked you guys for money over and over, and you came through, raising over $7,500 at the OpenLeft/Better Dems page. I am amazed and thankful.

Thursday was a real feel good kind of day at Blue America; the money bomb we helped out with for Maine's No On 1 campaign was a huge success and their total is now over $1,140,000. Blue America is closing in on $10,000 for them. We gave away the Barbra Streisand DVDs and at the last minute a Florida bidder jumped in with a thousand dollars and walked away with the Joan Osborne platinum award. It felt so good exchanging the award plaque with a huge fan of "One of Us" for a full day of radio ads for the whole state, that I have another offer... or two! A generous donor gave us a Lenny Kravitz ...

The Maine No on 1 marriage equality campaign gives a shout-out to the netroots, in particular for helping to raise more than a million dollars on ActBlue. Also, Belinda Carlisle shoots a web ad. (Anyone else unable to get "vacation state, all I ever wanted..." out of their heads?)
