Obama Uses Daughter’s Bad Grade As A “Teachable Moment”

Obama was in Wisconsin talking about education today, and he used a poor test grade from his daughter to illustrate how parents should be more involved in their children’s education.
I disagree with Obama’s politics, obviously, and I think our schools need more local control and less federal involvement. In fact, I think that if we’re going to subsidize education in this country we should move away from public schools to providing vouchers for parents so they can choose a private school of their liking.
