Obama launches education spot
Ben Smith's Blog —   Obama's back to positives on television, with a big buy of this classic classroom ad that hits a familiar theme of blending government support and personal responsibility. Obama, in a classroom, recalls his humble roots and rolls out elements of his education plan -- higher teacher pay, more money for early childhood education. "The truth is, government can't do it all," he says." As parents we need to turn o the TV, read to our kids, give them that thirst to learn." It's up now in the D.C. (Northern Virginia) and Philadelphia markets.
