THE ASTUTE BLOGGERS —
This is either laugh-out-loud funny or frightening depending on whether you believe he just made a mistake, or that he is accidentally admitting the truth. *******UPDATE: SEE NEWER MORE COMPLETE VIDEO BELOW!!!!! Thanks to Anonymous for sending it to me. RELIAPUNDIT ADDS: PALEO LITHICS: “My Muslim Faith” Obama In a possible slip of the tongue sure to throw fuel on the fire that Barack Obama has never abandoned the faith that he was born into, in response to a question on his faith by George Stephanopoulos on ABC this ...
Obama's faith

OBAMA'S FAITH.... On ABC's "This Week," George Stephanopoulos talked to Barack Obama a bit about his faith and the smears directed at him regarding his background. There's a 13-second clip making the rounds that takes one particular comment out of context, so before anyone gets an email from a crazy relative saying, "I knew he was a secret Muslim!" I thought I'd post the portion of the interview in its fuller context. One would like to think, at this point, even the most unhinged on the right would give up on this entire line of attack, but it seems old habits die hard.— Steve Benen 12:45 PM Permalink | Trackbacks | ...

Video: No, Obama didn’t “admit” to being a Muslim on ABC posted at 3:00 pm on September 7, 2008 by Allahpundit Send to a Friend | printer-friendly Within 10 minutes of this airing we’d already gotten four or five e-mails about it; 20 minutes later, a bowdlerized version had already hit YouTube and begun circulating. I despise lefty sites for twisting conservatives’ words by selectively editing clips, so let’s cut this one off at the pass before it gets going. Here’s the full exchange with Stephanopoulos, making it perfectly clear that when he says “my Muslim faith” he’s referring to how the people smearing him see him, not how he ...

Allahpundit, I am unsurprised that the context on the longer
Obama Muslim admission thing indicates something different than
the shorter clip:
Note that post is not a reflection on Dan. Indeed, I agree with
his point that Obama's problems in this regard are largely Obama's
own fault: the man continues to be more concerned with denying
rumors about his religion than he is with explaining why those
rumors shouldn't
matter in the first place. Nonetheless, this is almost
certainly just Obama not being able to talk artfully ...
"My Muslim faith" -- oops, I mean "my Christian faith"
Babalú Blog: an island on the net without a bearded dictator —
Thin, this is not about what faith he is , but whether he is concealing his true faith or not. That's a pretty important criteria to decide the next president, you think? Read up on the Muslim doctrine of Al-Taqiyya and then come back with your witticisms. The word "Taqiyya" literally means: "Concealing, precaution, guarding." It is employed in disguising one's beliefs, intentions, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions or strategies. In practical terms it is manifested as dissimulation, lying, deceiving, vexing and confounding with the intention of deflecting attention, foiling or pre-emptive blocking. It is currently employed in fending off and neutralising ...

USA Today: Poll: Convention lifts McCain over Obama
MSNBC Drops Olbermann, Matthews as News Anchors
Here's Barry with something that is less a "gaffe" and more a probably confession of his own personal conflict on the issue of Islam. I don't believe he;s a Muslim, that's not the issue, I do believe this exposes perhaps his own personal conflict with the fact the he's not even though his father and many of his ...
