Noonan: "She Killed"
Ace of Spades HQ —
6 I didn't see it that way (Noonan's), but as soon as I saw the reaction by the pundits on CNN, they seemed pretty positive about Palin's performance over all which encouraged me a little. Gwen Ifell is dead to me. Up until this moment in my life I had no problem with her. Now I disdain her. Not only was she biased, which is one thing, corrupt in not disclosing her Obama book coming out on inauguration day for another, but she sucked ass and stumbled over her words. She looked like a fool. If anyone lost the debate, I thought it was Ifell.

VP Debate: Sarah Palin Lost! Sarah Palin Won! (Video)
Tennessee Guerilla Women —
CNN and MSNBC and assorted media polls call the historic Vice Presidential debate for Senator Joe Biden. Many pronounce Joe Biden to be a statesman, unlike Sarah Palin. I missed a lot of the coverage, so I'm not sure if the pundits continue to call the woman stupid. Based on the vile schoolyard nature of the primary campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton, I'm guessing yes. It should be obvious that I do not advocate voting for Republicans. I do, however, advocate ending the male monopoly on power and elevating the pathetic schoolyard discourse. If anything is stupid, it is this 2 year election. In the ...

Famous person?
This morning on news sites, the McCain campaign appeared to be in need of a copy editor when it attributed a positive review of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's debate performance last night to a "Famous Person."
The ad -- viewable here -- couples a photo of a smiling Palin with the quote: "She ...

The Agitator —
The McCain campaign had another Internet fail, apparently sending this unfinished ad to the Washington Post early Friday morning:
Now watch conservative commentator Peggy Noonan, shortly after Thursday night’s debate:
So was this a harmless error by a McCain campaign techie? Or did the McCain camp send out pre-written quotes to friendly commentators?

Getting Palin wrong, coming and going
Power Line —
Peggy Noonan continues to tie herself in knots over Sarah Palin. During the Republican convention, Noonan wrote a column in which she argued that Palin represents "a real and present danger to the American left" which therefore needs to "kill" her. However, a few days later, when she thought her microphone was off, Noonan said that McCain had "blown it" by selecting Palin as his running mate. So much for the danger to the left.
After the vice presidential debate, Noonan praised Palin's performance. But in her latest column, she takes the position that Palin is "a symptom and expression of a new vulgarization in American ...
