Think Progress — In today’s White House press briefing, spokesperson Dana Perino addressed reporters who were skeptical of whether the auto bailout package would actually rescue the struggling industry. When asked if officials were simply “kicking the can down the road,” Perino became defensive and said that they have been “working with the Obama administration.” However, she quickly had to correct herself from admitting that the Bush administration is a lame duck and said, “I’m sorry, Obama team, not quite administration yet.” Watch it: Just ...
