Some legendary entertainers were honored at the White House and the Kennedy Center this weekend setting up an uncomfortable encounter -- and an awkward kiss! -- between President George W. Bush and one of his staunchest Hollywood critics, Barbra Streisand. Also recognized for their work were (from left to right) Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of the Who, dancer and choreographer Twyla Tharp, actor Morgan Freeman (talking to Streisand), and country musician George Jones (photo courtesy LA Times). She is just one of many limo-lib elites that spent the last 8 years blindly hammering the most powerful world leader … a leader who happened to be their President … and even went so far (stepson) as to poor-tray him in some slapstick flick of weirdo fiction.
They bitched and moaned for 8 years … producing nothing of worth from all that slander.
And all the while the man accepted the rocks and arrows thrown at him without complaint while the true wounds to his heart and soul were inflicted by the responsibility he completely accepted for the wounds and deaths of the men and women he sent into war(s). ...
