News — Obama Family Votes Barack and Michelle Obama, along with their two daughters, voted this morning at Shoesmith School in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood. Voters waiting in line applauded and whistled when Sen. Obama cast his ballot. Sliding his paper ballot into the vote-counting machine, Sen. Obama said, "I hope this works. It'll be really embarrassing if it doesn't." The machine accepted Obama's vote.
