Reporter to Obama: Um, didn’t you belittle Hillary’s foreign policy cred during the primaries? posted at 1:39 pm on December 1, 2008 by Allahpundit Send to a Friend | Share on Facebook | printer-friendly Sure he did, but you can’t hold him to things he said in the heat of battle. Remember, this is a guy who lied repeatedly on the stump about a pillar of American trade policy and then climbed down as soon as it was safe to do so. BS-ing about his contempt for Hillary’s qualifications is small potatoes by comparison. Note Her Majesty nodding along at the beginning as Obama pointedly reaffirms that he’ll be the one setting policy. ...

Change... Obama Continues Boycott of FOX News
Gateway Pundit —
Barack Obama continues his boycott of FOX News. He's set the record for press confereneces but still has not called on a representative from the most watched name in cable news. The One must be afraid he may get a tough question of substance. Unfortunately, Obama was asked about dissing Hillary's foreign policy credentials during the primary. This is fun for the press to try to stir up whatever quotes were generated during the course of the campaign, and you’re having fun. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m not faulting it. But, look, I think if you look at the statements that Hillary Clinton and I have made outside of the heat of a campaign, we share a view that America has to be safe and secure, and in order to do that we have to combine military power with strengthened diplomacy. Is Madame Secretary Of State’s Résumé a Wee Bit Inflated?

Here’s part of a public statement from Barack Obama’s presidential campaign back on March 11:
There is no doubt that Hillary Clinton played an important domestic policy role when she was First Lady. It is well known, for example, that she led the failed effort to pass universal health insurance. There is no reason to believe, however, that she was a key player in foreign policy at any time during the Clinton Administration.
She did not sit in on National Security Council meetings. She did not have a security clearance. She did not attend meetings in the Situation Room. She did not manage any part of the ...
