New Obama Ads
The Caucus — Senator Barack Obama is out with two new spots. One, which the campaign says will run on national cable, is in response to Senator John McCain choosing a running mate. Despite his pick of Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska (whose name the spot does not mention), the Obama campaign wants voters to associate Mr. McCain with President Bush. “So while this may be his running mate,” says an announcer as foot Mr. McCain and Ms. Palin at Friday’s rally appears. Then the scene switches to Mr. McCain hugging Mr. Bush. “America knows this is John McCain’s agenda.” The campaign’s other ad, which will go on the air in Michigan, a critical battleground ...
