Rush Limbaugh Fundraising for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee - Criticized By GOP House Member
FullosseousFlap's Dental Blog —
Certainly not the first time that the “EVIL” RUSH” has been used as a foil for Democratic Party pleas to replenish their political coffers.
Here is the audio/video:
But, what is interesting this time is that the ...
Democrats Launch New Petition Against Rush Limbaugh
The Radio Equalizer: Brian Maloney —
THEY'VE LEARNED NOTHING Overconfident Dems Seek To Eliminate All Opposition *** UPDATE: RUSH RESPONDS: "I am greatly puzzled. Why would the Democrats petition against me if I am doing such terrible damage to the GOP? Click here to send messages of love, hope and change TO ME via this petition!" *** Clearly having learned nothing from past attempts at removing dissenting viewpoints from the airwaves, power-mad Democrats are trying once again to silence Rush Limbaugh. In 2007, led by Senate Majority ...
Democrats Launch Petition Against Limbaugh
Politics on HuffingtonPost.com —
Entering the fray between Rush Limbaugh and the new Obama administration, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition here to repudiate the incendiary conservative talk-show host.
The petition is accompanied on the DCCC website by the well-circulated video of the Limbaugh statements that began this whole affair: the assertion, "I hope he fails." If anyone missed it, here is the video:

Fresh off our latest political campaign season, in which virtually every voter yearned for the defeat of the candidate that she or he wasn't supporting, we are reminded, once again, of the partisan dynamic that has taken hold of the nation's psyche. The binary mind-game can be summed up in the immortal words of George W. Bush: "You're either with us, or you're against us." The problem with this all or nothing political mantra, however, is that it makes difficult those most precious ...
Sahil Kapur: A Trifecta of Inadequacy
Politics on HuffingtonPost.com —
A couple of months ago, I wrote about the tired state of the Republican Party and how it desperately needs to blow past the disastrous Bush years and rediscover its core values. But months after being overwhelmingly rejected by the American people, the Republican Party remains unable to recapture its substance. Instead, we have only seen more pandering to the fanatics and dim bulbs, more of the same putrid ideas and more power-plays that evoke politics before country -- while the economy crashes and burns.
Weeks after the election, a Gallup Poll recorded that 67% of Republicans wanted Sarah Palin to be the party nominee in 2012. A recent ...
GOP Scorecard: Who Wants Obama to Fail?
Politics Daily —
Filed under: Republicans, Barack Obama, John McCain, Featured Stories, EconomyAs an opposition party, it can be somewhat difficult striking the right tone of dissent. Subtle rhetorical utterances can, in the eyes of the public, make the difference between being perceived as a loyal opposition, or as nothing more than a bunch of sour grapes. Just as Democrats struggled to find the right balance when confronting Bush policies that they abhorred (to varying degrees of success) so too must Republicans now strive to package their message in a fashion that doesn't make them look like sore losers or gleeful ...
