McCain’s moment
Pundit Review — McCain’s moment John McCain was not speaking to the convention hall last night, he was speaking to the TV audience. Instead of a steady diet of red meat, McCain directly indicted the GOP and their failures in recent years. Here is my favorite part of the speech, starting at about the 2 minute mark, I fight to restore the pride and principles of our party. McCain's Convention Speech
News — McCain's Convention Speech In case you missed it, posted below is video of John McCain's speech at the Republican convention. In accepting his party's presidential nomination, McCain said that he has the record of leadership and bipartisanship that his opponent, Democrat Barack Obama, does not. "You know, I’ve been called a maverick, someone who marches to the beat of his own drum," McCain said. "Sometimes it’s meant as a compliment and sometimes it’s not. What it really means is I understand who I work for. I don’t work for a party. I don’t work for a special interest. I don’t work for myself. I work for you."

Turns out, no, it wasn't one of his houses, it was an even dumber selection from the geniuses what run the GOP, who want you to entrust them to run the country... John Aravosis explains what that backdrop actually was... ...
