The Obama campaign may think they never get a fair shake on Fox, but Shep Smith didn't let inaccurate statements go by yesterday on-air.
Smith questioned Joe the Plumber on his foreign policy views after for the prominent McCain supporter agreed with a fellow supporter that "a vote for Obama is a vote for death to Israel."
After hearing Joe's position -- despite admitting to not a foreign policy expert, but someone who knows "just enough to be dangerous" -- Smith shot down the guy who's become a staple of McCain's stump speech.

Caught MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann last night and got caught up on Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher's (JTP) doings. I learned he's contemplating a run for Congress, has an odd opinion on where Barack Obama stands on Israel, has hired a publicist and is trying to get a country music contract. Olbermann, as one might expect, savaged JTP.
I also learned from Olbermann that Fox News's Shep Smith took JTP to task for misstating Obama's support of Israel, as Jon Stewart did last night too.

I'm getting a negative vibe from this whole outfit, although not enough to lose any sleep over.
