    Keith,

You are a pious  hypocrit and and an elitist. As someone who  lost more friends than you on  9/11,  I find your comments to be nothing more than a extreme left wing political rant . You and your ilk have tried to wipe 911 from our collective memory ever since you realized that each time we see the attack more Americans will see through the left's apologist attitude towards Radical Islam's  intents.

Keith, you dishonor your friends and you give comfort to our enemies.

For every time a true Red Blooded American sees those films, we remember our friends and honor their sacrifice. You do not speak for America or those of us that lost so much on 9/11.

In Honor of all those taken so early,

                                            Captain, Luke

Tastelessly Politicizing 9/11
Hoffmania! — The term is thrown around a lot, but never has the tragedy been so viscerally exploited as it was at the RNC tonight. This "Tribute to the Victims of 9/11" was nothing of the sort. It was a blatant use of disturbing images to sell America on John McCain. Keith Olbermann spoke for many of us in his reaction. The video below contains both the "tribute" and KO's response. ...

Thursday Big Blue Smurf Blogging: What They Said -- special RNC edition
Brilliant at Breakfast — Today's honoree: Keith Olbermann, for his expression of disgust and dismay at the Republicans shamelessly exploiting 9/11 yet again as a vehicle with which to score cheap political points: I swear, sometimes I think Republicans masturbate to images of the 9/11 attacks. (h/t: ...

Olbermann: Sept. 11 tribute "not appropriate"
Michael Calderone's Blog — Keith Olbermann spoke out tonight against MSNBC for airing the Republican convention's tribute to Sept. 11, which included jarring images of the attacks. Olbermann said it was "not appropriate." (Here's the Sept. 11 video).

Obsidian Wings — by hilzoy A commenter at the Monthly noted that my last post was "surprisingly snarky" for me. I meant it, and I stand by it, but I take his point. There was something else, which I wasn't prepared to write about. Maybe I'm still not. But what the heck: I was primed by watching the RNC's 9/11 tribute. It revolted me: both the idea of using ...

Whiskey Fire — by Ripley Thers was kind enough to offer me a Saturday posting slot, here at the ol'... um, alcohol-fueled, burning menace to gracious behavior and uppercrust sensibilities. And I'm nothing if not premature, so... wait, that came out wrong. Wait, that came out wrong, too! Shit! Regardless, here's something you can read while you're pretending to work. ...

Fall to your knees and re-brand, if you please
Whiskey Fire — by Ripley The GOP's got itself some trouble, some biiiig trouble.  Well, nothing a little re-marketizing won't cure, eh?  Hell, if the policies and philosophies aren't working, just change the label, right?  Right!  Now with 100% less Bush!  New label - same shitty taste!  You've seen it all before, I'm sure. Here's something I wrote last September about ...
