Woah!... Newt Gingrich Compares Media Elites to Polish Communists... Compares MSM to Pravda
Gateway Pundit —
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich went off on the American media's biased and dishonest coverage of popular Alaska Governor Sarah Palin tonight. Newt compared the Palin coverage to the reports written about freedom fighter Lech Walesa by the Polish communists. Newt condemned the media's ambush on Sarah Palin. And, he compared the mainstream media bias to Pravda. Here is Newt Gingrich on with Greta Van Susteren tonight:
Newt Gingrich On Media: No Prentense…Not A Shred Of Neutrality…Like Watching Pravda
Nice Deb —
Gingrich, appearing on the Greta Van Susteren show, starts off by ripping CNN for the insulting, and out of context quote from NRO, that was repeated to her during a recent interview, for no other reason, it seems, than to hurt her feelings. The full quote from Byron York reads: “Watching the press coverage of the Republican candidate for Vice President, ...
Newt Gingrich On Media: 'Not A Shred Of Neutrality - Like Watching Pravda'

Newt Gingrich ripped CNN on the Greta Van Susteren show for the egregious out of context quote from Byron York's piece at NRO that was repeated to her during a recent interview, for no other reason than to "hurt her feelings" and to distort what conservatives are saying about her. Gingrich subsequently goes nuclear. >
In this excerpt from the transcript of CNN's Drew Griffin interview of Sarah Palin it is clear that he misquoted Byron York's NRO piece: CNN: Yeah. Governor, you've been mocked in the press. The press has been pretty hard on you, the Democrats have been pretty hard on you, but also some ...

Newt says it all, re Palin (h/t, Gateway):
Gingrich: Media Attacks On Palin 'Like Watching Pravda'
NewsBusters.org - Exposing Liberal Media Bias —
As NewsBusters has been reporting since we were at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has been a strongly outspoken critic of how the mainstream media have covered Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin since she was first announced as John McCain's runningmate. On Wednesday, appearing on Fox News's "On the Record," Gingrich called recent press reports involving the Republican vice presidential candidate "factually wrong, intellectually dishonest, totally biased, worthy of the Polish state news media attacking Lech Walesa back in the 1980s." Moments later, he put ...
Why I “Dwell” on Sarah Palin
GayPatriot —
Last night, yet again I challenged an Obama supporter skeptical of my support for Sarah Palin. Not only did he fail to attribute a single accomplishment to his candidate for the White House, he couldn’t even identify specific policies which drew him to the Democrat. Why then did he support him, I wondered?
Because, he replied, the Democrat is “inspiring” and can “bring people together.”
Now, I agree that, with a prepared speech, Barack Obama can indeed be inspiring. But, so can Sarah Palin. Just look at the reaction to her speech in St. Paul to the Republican National Convention. Even critics of the Alaska Governor ...
MSM Ignores Biden’s Gaffes as it Ignored Palin’s Record
GayPatriot —
It seemed a strange serendipity of circumstances that barely twenty-four hours after blogging about a journalism school honoring Katie Couric for biased coverage of Sarah Palin, I would discover the media ignoring the latest Joe Biden fabrication.
As I wrote last fall:
Joe Biden makes more gaffes the average week than Sarah Palin made in the entire campaign. Take out . . . Palin’s interview with Katie Couric, and you could say that Biden made more gaffes per speech than the Alaska Governor made in the entire campaign. And he had thirty-six years of “experience.”
While, during the campaign, the media made much of ...
